We are looking at the aftermath of the recent tariff adjustment announcements and use the SPY as a reference.
Using Fibonacci retracements and support/resistance levels, we place the movements in a broader technical perspective.
In addition, we analyze via TopScope which sectors and ETFs are performing the strongest.

Technical analysis SPY

  • Restore to the 50% level around 547 after the Februaryโ€“April decline.
  • 61,8% retracement as a possible next goal; 38,2% level as first support.
  • Important resistance around 550, followed by 575, 595 and 610.
  • Support zones: 520, 505 and 480 (with 480 as the crucial level).
  • Long-term framework: 480 marks the peak of the previous bull cycle (COVID bottom โ†’ 2020 high).
